Happy October Everyone! We hope you're having a great Friday! This week we have a couple little goodies for ya.

First up, we have Jade Ashely with a review of 'Zodiac Starforce'

"This week, I’m reviewing Dark Horse’s new magical girl team comic, Zodiac Starforce, written by Kevin Panetta and drawn by Paulina Ganucheau. Zodiac Starforce is about a group of teenage girls in high school dealing with boyfriends, biology tests, mean girls, and the occasional monster or two. These girls have been gifted with magical powers that they use to fight off evil entities that threaten their world. The cool part of this comic is that it’s not an origin story."

And we have Eric Coomber with two wonderfully different pieces. Let us start first with his article...

"It’s been a long while since I’ve written for the site, but I’m here with a little bit of good news. Next week, I’ll have a more thorough review of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty from the MGS HD Edition. For now, though, I’ll give you guys a quick rundown: I liked it, but didn’t fully love it. It felt like an update to the first game in some aspects, while it had drawbacks in other areas. The visuals were extremely well done for a game that came out in 2001, considering the HD edition is not a full high definition remake. The score is more or less just background noise. I don’t think any of it, save for one or two songs, were too memorable. The plot was… Well, okay, that’s the part that I need to discuss in a bigger review. Without trying to spoil anything, up until the last two hours or so, it was good-ol’ tactical espionage action. This is all I’m going to say for now, but definitely check in next week for my big rant of a review!"
