Hey gang! It's summer, and you know what that means! BUSY BUSY BUSY! Our writers are taking a little break to vacation, buy a home, climb a mountain, rob a train, really whatever makes them happy. So! This week, we have one fantastic news story for you from me(!), Michael J. Foy!

"The new trailer for ‘Wet Hot American Summer: The First Day of Camp’ is here and I can’t stop laughing! Ever since I heard that Netflix was working with original creator David Wain to bring back the cult film in the form of an eight episode series, I’ve been goin crazy! If you haven’t seen the original film from 2001, you’ve gotta get on it! This totally absurd comedy is one of those movies that just gets funnier and funnier upon each viewing. The characters are mostly “teenagers” played by 20/30/40 somethings in the film, on the last day of camp in the summer of 1981. The new show takes place before for the events of the film, despite the actors now being in their 30/40/50’s, on the first day of camp.

Featuring the ENTIRE Original Cast of Janeane Garofalo, David Hyde Pierce, Molly Shannon, Paul Rudd, Christopher Meloni, Michael Showalter, Marguerite Moreau, Ken Marino, Michael Ian Black, H. Jon Benjamin, Zak Orth, Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper, Marisa Ryan, Kevin Sussman, Joe Lo Truglio, Elizabeth Banks, Judah Friedlander and a ton of great new people!
