We here at Shut Up Yo Studios had a blast with EVIL DEAD 2013, especially me! Horror movies have always been a big part of my life and usually reboots of any kind tarnish what has come before. EVIL DEAD (Listen to our Review HERE!) was one of those rare exceptions that was a wild ride from start to finish. So, the news that the sequel has been scrapped really blows. There has already been talk of an Army of Darkness 2, and now Sam Raimi is talking about an Evil Dead TV series starring none other than Bruce Campbell. With so many rumors at this point, who knows what to beleve...

Now depending on what network the show ends up on, this could be a really great idea. A network like HBO, Showtime or something with an unrated format would allow Raimi and his team to produce a show that wouldn't be a let down in comparison to the films. Perhaps the show will lead into Army of Darkness 2? Perhps that will lead into EVIL DEAD II? It's not too far-fetched, considering the idea was originally to have Mia team up with Ash to fight the undead.

At this point it's only speculation, BUT, that would be pretty awesome. All I do know is, I would love to get back into this universe sooner rather than later.
