Here at SUYS!, we could not be more ready for the premiere of Sharknado 2: The Second One. This writer has always enjoyed these over-the-top, low budget, sci-fi monster movies. So if you’re into campy, ludicrous, and the downright cringeworthy, with a healthy dose of humor and poor acting, here are some other fun movies to check out!

Of course, you’ll want to get your eyeballs on the original Sharknado. A freak storm off the coast of Los Angeles starts catapulting live sharks throughout the city! 

How about Ghost Shark? The ghost of a dead shark with a mysterious spell cast upon it begins to terrorize the town wherever there is water. 

MegaShark vs. Mechashark just premiered on Saturday, July 26. When A giant shark starts to threaten humanity, the world decides to make an exact ROBOT REPLICA of the monster shark to do battle! 

Still can’t get enough? There’s a whole lineup of these amazing feats of cinema, including DinoShark, Sharktopus, Dinocroc vs. Supergator, MegaPython vs. Gatoroid, Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda...take your pick! Either way, make sure you get yourself psyched up, and don’t forget to tune in to Shut Up Yo! Radio's LIVE event Wednesday night (7/30!) as we pick apart the subtle nuances of Sharknado 2: The Second One!
