I still remember sitting in the library in high school reading online about the proposed, Mad Max 4. At that time Mel Gibson was still attached, and it seemd like it was actually going to happen. I had already been into the films for a couple of years, so needless to say I was pretty pumped to see a new film on the big screen. Then, without warning, the film feel apart and it seemed like nothing would ever come of it.

Now, ten years after I first read about it, the trailer has been realeased for, Mad Max: Fury Road. Not gonna lie, it looks pretty flipplin sick! After twenty nine years, George Miller hasn't forgotten the look and feel of the wasteland. There are elements of the original trilogy all throughout the trailer and the new additions look crazy good! I also need to point out that Tom Hardy looks pretty awesome as Max. I wasn't sure how I would feel about the recasting, but he seems to fit the bill thus far. Although I am left wondering how this new film fits in to the original trilogy. I have read it takes place between one and two, but that seems like a slippery slope. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

With just under a year to go before release, I can honestly say I'm really excited for this one. If there is any chance we can get a movie anywhere near as good as, Mad Max 2, it's well worth the wait!
