Hold onto your butts, folks. Weird Al is BACK with an all new album that dropped on July 15th. It’s called ‘Mandatory Fun’ and the cover art is quite genius. Hell, the premise is genius, as he is releasing one new music video EVERY day for 8 days starting on thee first day of release (Tuesday, July 15th, 2014) I can’t help but feel like this is an even greater, meta-level parody of Beyonce’s unannounced album that dropped overnight earlier this year. As far as videos go, the public has been graced with “Tacky” (“Happy” parody) and “Word Crimes” (“Blurred Lines” parody). Shit is indeed getting very real for Weird Al Fans everywhere, so be sure to pick up a copy of the record! Let’s hope it takes us away to that special place, where the sun is always shining, and the air smells like warm root beer, and the towels are oh so FLUFFY!!! Check out all of the insane cameo appearances in the “Tacky” music video, as it features so many GREAT comedic talents of past and present.
