So, now we have our first look at Superman in a movie that we wont see for two more years...

Great.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I don’t want to see the movie, and hopefully get to see Batman kick his ass, but I can’t say I have much interest in it now. Maybe some people think that’s crazy, but I would much rather wait until the one year mark. Three hundred and sixty five days is plenty of time to create a killer ad campaign building up to the release of the film. At two years, it’s just a horrible tease and I would rather push it all away and focus on something I can watch now.

I certainly understand wanting to get a little taste to tide you over, like the first image of Batman and the Batmobile, which I have to admit look pretty good thus far. The picture itself looks good, showing an older Superman out in the rain, but seems a little uninspired. Though, It would be pretty great to have Batman and Superman fight in the rain with the picture quality that exists today, as long as it doesn’t resemble anything from the last Matrix film. It does however resemble The Dark Knight Rises ad campaign a little, rock replaced with water.

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how all this plays out…. for the next two years…
