Can you recall a time when you would get home from school, plop down in front of the TV with your homework, and tune in for an intense episode of Dragonball Z? Well, I sure as hell can. I was completely content with watching full episodes of flamboyant, half-primate warriors scream at each other a shoot lasers out of their hands for an hour EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

After Dragonball: Evolution was released in 2009, I felt all of my respect for the franchise slowly die. Until recently, I haven’t been faithful to the franchise at all. It simply became a show that I would watch reruns of as I did dishes, simply to provide me with entertainment during such a monotonous chore.

After seeing this trailer, I am REALLY stoked. It looks like a cleaned up version of the show I once loved with some 3-D effects integrated into the action. I am hoping the film won’t rely too heavily on the visual effects to keep viewers interested, but we’ll just have to wait and see! It basically looks like Goku is going to brawl with a level 99, purple sphynx cat from space...AWESOME!
