'Jupiter Ascending' from July 2014 to February 6th, 2015

June 4th, 2014

Hollywood Reporter recently ran a story confirming that the next film from Lana & Andy Wachowski, titled 'Jupiter Ascending' is being pushed from a July 18th release to a February 6th, 2015 release.

According to the website, insiders say that they want more time to spend on special effects.

The $150 Million sci-fi film will star Mila Kunis as a housekeeper who learns from an alien warrior played by Channing Tatum, who tells her that she is a space-princess.

The article is also calling this an "ambitious" film. Ambitious? A movie with a plot we have seen a thousand iterations of? Not to say that The Wachowskis are not incredible storytellers, nor does this writer think that they can't create an incredible backdrop to a wonderful story we've heard before. But ambitious? It's more ambitious to CALL this ambitious.

IN ANY CASE! What do you guys think? Are you disappointed in the delay? Or can you wait it out?
