Inmate notices that prison is showing Pirated movies to prisoners

May 20th, 2014
Now this one is interesting.
According to an article from Cleveland.com, The Lorain County Correctional Institution in Ohio has been showing pirated movies to the inmates who are serving time there.
Now, this may seem like a minor infraction, until your realize that a number of the inmates are serving time for pirating movies.
While one particular inmate in question, 26-year-old Richard Humphrey, was guilty of selling pirated copies of movies and is currently serving time for it, the point still remains that this is a clear-cut legal issue. This writer isn't positing that Mr. Humphrey is not guilty of what he is accused. The fact is that this institution is breaking the law, while simultaneously supposing to be a place of rehabilitation.
What do you think? Are they on the safe side? Or is this a fairly large issue?
