This guy is just plain NAILING IT TO THE WALL!!

Pope Francis delivered a homily this past Monday which touched on the importance of acceptance and inclusion in the Christian faith. He spoke of a time where it was unthinkable to accept the "unclean" pagans into their midst or their circles of Christianity.

Then, he dropped this one on the congregation:

“If, for example, tomorrow an expedition of Martians came to us here and one said ‘I want to be baptised!’, what would happen?”

He then followed-up with:

“Martians, right? Green, with long noses and big ears, like in children’s drawings.”

And then he moved on, but not before saying this to cap it off:

“When the Lord shows us the way, who are we to say, ‘No, Lord, it is not prudent! No, let's do it this way’.  Who are we to close doors?”
